Is it okay to make a religious retreat, if not in religion?
The church of my cousin is having this retirement women in the weekend next weekend and I thought to go with them because it sounds fun. They are housed in a hotel in Miami, as a beach and then have time free, but will also take place in religious things all day and study the Bible. Now I believe in God and attend church occasionally, but I'm not religious, I think it is more perfect opportunity to get out because I'm stressed my event planning business and is angry with my boyfriend. Besides my parents say I should go to a church while I will not need a church to have at my wedding. But anyway, I really want to go even though you probably dream day for conferences as I do when I go to church. Do you think I should go or would be lying if I did?
I do not think that would be a lie. I know nothing about retirement is working on what is happening, but on the basis of almost every day I'm thinking about what I think the leaders do not welcome you, or if you feel very "religious". Especially from the point of most religious retreats are closer to God then you should not feel bad to keep going when you do not feel all that close of God. Their leaders would probably be delighted to have the opportunity to help get closer to God, although not the main reason to attend the retreat.
