Why the British Government remains committed to making rigid immigration rules for doctors?
My Dear Friend name is Bipin and I am a cancer surgeon located in Toronto. I am very irritated by the news that come from time to time in the Government's immigration policy United Kingdom. They have every chance of success abroad doctors. They DONT care that these types of rules create a lot of insecurity among overseas junior doctors and prevent them from concentrating on their training. The fact is that the General Medical Council, a public body, the medical licensing in the UK has used their degree examination as a source of much business. They money by conducting the PLAB test (medical examination, which will allow foreign doctors to apply for jobs at the hospital in the UK) and sufficient evidence that their expensive new building is to be bought with money from foreign doctors. My question is why the British government allowed to take hundreds of practice sessions, if they can not afford such poor foreign doctors who came to the UK for training additional medical and money?
Many of these doctors are public schools in Africa, Asia, etc, using public resources in these countries, then move to Europe to work, causing a net loss for poor countries that already! In my opinion most of these physicians should remain and work with local populations in their countries of origin. The British suck dry the former colonies of professionals, because for the past use of material resources.
