This recession has been a doozy for many people. It's really amazing how many people were dismissed, and they expect the unemployment reached 15% before the economy actually recovers. This means that many people lost their homes or seized by the bank. Like the 2001 recession, it seems that we left this crisis in our economy with a jobless recovery. And until they change jobs, people have to understand something else to do for a living.
Maybe that's why many people chose to start their own business. Unfortunately, it takes money to start a new business, and people do not have much money now saved then who are looking to start small businesses do not cost that. Interestingly, there was a very good book written in the first 90 years that have made suggestions for the best rates businesses to start, the companies you can start and run away from home. It is a book that even today on my shelf is quite good, the book is;
"The best home business for 90 years" of Paul and Sarah Edwards, 1991.
So what type of business of these authors are thinking in a tough economy? Most listed companies are small business services, companies can do without a formation too, and without investing too much. Among the list of potential employers;
- Auto Detailing
- Pressure mobile wash
- Window cleaning
- Public Relations
- Resumes
- Leak Detection
- Audio Cassette Copiers
Now some of these businesses today might not be as good or work well because of our changing economy, but perhaps this gives some good ideas of possible types of businesses you can start. In fact, I hope you please consider of it.
